These diaries kept by Mrs. Virgie Britt cover the years 1963, 1964, and 1967. Mrs. Britt, mother of the late Maurice “Footsie” Britt, lived in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Maurice “Footsie” Britt served as Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas during the Winthrop Rockefeller Administration.
The diaries were donated to UCA by the Lonoke / Prairie County Regional Library System.
