CLOIE SMITH PRESLEY COLLECTION

She was born on November 14, 2004 in Goff’s Cove in Cleburne County.  She attended Arkansas State Teacher’s College (UCA) in Conway graduating in 1944.  After graduation, Mrs. Presley worked as a teacher for 8 years, but the bulk of her collection covers her work as a genealogist.  Mrs. Presley married Leister Presley in 1948.  She worked with the Girl Scouts for 34 years and was a charter member of the White County Historical Society.  Cloie Smith Presley died on November 14, 2004.
