ROSE PUBLISHING COMPANY RECORDS
M87-02
Rose Publishing Company was founded in 1973 by Walter Nunn for the purpose of publishing a textbook on state and local government for college. On the basis of the favorable response to the book and subsequent titles, Rose became a fulltime operation in 1974. The company specializes in non-fiction books about Arkansas and Arkansas people.
The records consist of financial and business records, correspondence with authors and prospective authors, copy-rights and copyright information, royalty statements, some manuscripts, and ideas for future publications.

Arrangement
The records are divided into two series including (1) Administrative Records and (2) Publications.
Series 1 - Administrative Records. Contains the business and financial records of
the company.
Series 2 - Publications. Consists of correspondence concerning publications and
ideas for future publications.
